I love what I do. As a lifelong educator, my interests are in advocating for children in partnership with their caregivers.

Approach

My experiences raising my own three children who are now 17, 14, and 12, have provided me with valuable insight that helps me to empathize with parents who are struggling to find the best paths for their children.

It is extremely valuable to listen to the context that surrounds each learning experience. I will place the child (and their unique developmental needs) at the center of any process that is meant to assist in their development.

  • Following our spirits but also listening to our inner voices and the nature of our children.

“Heather was instrumental in helping my husband and I make a difficult decision regarding high school for our son.  She was personable and thoughtful, she responded quickly and thoroughly to all of my questions, and she shared her own experiences which made it easier to envision our choices.”
